Why Seabre began

Seabre began with something very personal.

I have always had sensitive, easily irritated skin. Over the years, I became increasingly aware of how many products I was putting on my skin and how difficult it could be to find something that felt simple, gentle and right for me.

Then my grandson was born with eczema.

I started making balms for him, looking for ingredients that were gentle and comforting for his skin. As I experimented and learned more, I began using them myself.

Then something clicked.

I realised I didn't need a bathroom full of complicated products. I wanted simple skincare made from ingredients I could understand and trust.

That was the beginning of Seabre.

At Seabre, we believe everyone deserves to feel beautiful, confident and happy in their own skin.

We believe skincare can be simple — thoughtfully chosen ingredients, products made with care, and nothing more complicated than it needs to be.

That’s why we’ve deliberately kept our range small. We’d rather make a few products really well than make something simply because we can.

Now, this is only the beginning.

Seabre is a small Australian business and that's something I'm proud of.

We believe in being honest about what we make, supporting small buisnesses and markets, reducing unnecessary waste where we can and creating products that people genuinely enjoy using.

I'm still learning, experimenting and dreaming up ideas, but I'm also resisting the temptation to make everything.

Because sometimes less really is more.
